Your Interactive Summer is being a TV news reporter, making food alongside a chef, telling jokes with a comedian, catching "bad guys" alongside a police officer with a 4-legged partner, playing sports with professional athletes and interacting and learning from more than 50 guest speakers. Campers will learn by doing with the pros in the business of roller coasters, firefighting, inventing, karate, dancing, drawing, clothing design, painting and animal rescue. Don't forget our weekly scavenger hunts, obstacle course races, water day, pizza Friday and much much more.

Camp Dates & Information

Each week, campers will meet, learn and interact with over 50 guest speakers teaching them how its done as they cook, build, race, draw, act and laugh. Check out below a sneak peek into just some of the fun we'll have each week.

Week 1
June 3rd to June 7th.

Learn how to catch “bad guys” from a real Hillsborough County Deputy. He’ll teach us all about his career of keeping the streets safe and give us a peek inside his car and the gadgets he uses each day. Throughout the week, we’ll even get to solve some mysteries of our own.


Week 2
June 10th to June 14th.

Love is in the air as we learn from a real matchmaker how she gets to know singles to match them with the perfect mate. Additionally, a musician will show how he gets inspired to make music by love, nature and more. We’ll even experience a musical performance just for us which may inspire our own song and dance. And who doesn’t love to meet a miniature pony? We’ll learn about the care of ponies and even get to meet a cute miniature pony!


Week 3
June 17th to June 21st.

This week learn science from a chemist who helps build and develop things that can help all of us every day. We’ll also learn and train from an actual Navy officer and develop our own challenging obstacle courses using wit and ingenuity.


Week 4
June 24th to June 28th.

This week we’re putting our crime fighting hats back on as we learn from the Sheriff's department how real detectives dust for fingerprints to identify criminals. With all our crime solving, we may build up an appetite. Not to worry. This week we’ll also learn recipes and skills from a real pizza maker and even make our own yummy pizza.


Week 5
July 1st to July 5th.

This week we’re learning from an actual inventor about how she came up with an idea, patented it and marketed a necessity for women worldwide. We’ll even design our own inventions that may also one day change the world.


Week 6
July 8th to July 12th.

After learning from law enforcement about the justice system on the streets, we’ll get to learn from an actual attorney about what it means to defend someone in court. We’ll also have a chance to create our own mock trial with a judge, jury, lawyers and plaintiff to determine the fate of the defendant.


Week 7
July 15th to July 19th.

Do you have what it takes to run, bike and swim in a triathlon? Lace up your sneakers and get ready for fun. This week we’ll meet an experienced triathlete and author, Jeff White. We’ll learn what inspires him and how he trains for these intense competitions. We’ll even get to try some of his training exercises to see if we have what it takes.


Week 8
July 22nd to July 26th.

This week, children’s author, Jodi Brooks Stone, will tell us all about her inspiration and the process it took to write her own book series, Savannah’s Stories. We’ll even get a chance to write and illustrate our own stories.


Week 9
July 29th to August 2nd.

Say cheese and donuts!? This week we’ll learn from actual photographers and journalists from Tampa Bay area newspapers and TV stations. We’ll get a chance to write and report our own stories on camera. Also this week, we’ll learn baking and decorating tricks for yummy donuts from actual donut makers. Donut miss this week!


Week 10
August 5th to August 9th.

This week takes the cake or at least decorates it. Learn from actual bakers and decorators how to decorate and bake scrumptious cakes that are good enough to eat. Also as you fire up the ovens, we’ll learn fire safety from county firefighters.
